Star Trek - Marking and Painting Specification
Class I Starships
In 1978 Franz Joseph Schnaubelt sent Star Trek enthusiast and modelmaker Paul Newitt a document that he used as a reference in the third issue of his Star Fleet Assembly Manual publication. The document is a "markings and painting guide" for Class I Starships -- the Heavy Cruiser, Scout, Destroyer, Transport/Tug, and Dreadnought, as seen in the Star Fleet Technical Manual.
Paul graciously shared a scan of this document with Trekplace.
